Once upon a time…story writing (Online)

Days: Wednesdays

Times: 1.30pm-3pm

Age Range: 8 - 16

We use your favourite books, films and real life experiences to inspire new stories to write and share. What was it like to be the captain on the doomed Titanic voyage? Would you like to be a time traveller visiting the dinosaurs? Oh no, a space ship has crashed into your back garden! Each club meets for a month and by the end, helped by professional writers, we sprinkle a little bit of magic…everyone becomes a published author in the Complete “Once upon a time” book.

This group is for young writers aged 8 plus. The Once upon a time group is structured to include all of the key aspects of the GCSE English language syllabus (comprehension, speaking and listening, planning and writing in various contexts), so young learners are taught how to become confident future writers!

5.30-7.00p.m. on Wednesdays, online on Zoom, the group runs in monthly blocks.

Limited to 6 learners per group to allow plenty of time for sharing and feedback.
