This face-to-face camp has been designed for children to enjoy, have fun and learn. Our face-to-face October Half-Term camp groups are small to enable tutors and children greater scope for interaction, dialogue, questions and answers. We motivate children to develop their understanding of science while having fun.
We also stimulate children to be creative. We teach children to learn how to identify a problem and look for a solution. We also foster the development of resilience. Sometimes, some children tend to give up easily. We teach campers that they need to try for alternate solutions to a given problem.
We encourage children to learn, consolidate and expand their knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. We focus on children building their capacity to communicate confidently and effectively. How to use and adapt science language to specific real-life contexts. We also focus on teaching STEAM within a cultural context. Children work on activities to develop problem-solving skills, teamwork and resilience.
