Activity Description

Making music fun!
This fun and enjoyable weekly 40 minute class for Reception and Year 1 children, taught by experienced musician and qualified music teacher Fraces David, allows children to progress from our popular Baby & Pre-School music programme (running for over 30 years) and leads into opportunities to learn a specific instrument, individually or within a group, from Year 2 onwards. The group meets during term-time Wednesdays after school at Abingdon Music Centre (at Larkmead School).

The class is

a focus for creative energy, is
designed to stimulate and guide the imagination
and aims to develop sensitivity and creative ability.

Children are taught to

express and share feelings with music,
develop musical understanding and musicality through singing, instrumental work, movement and games
and learn to be a musician. Just £7.00 per session.
We can also provide you with an amazing FREE (deposit required) drawstring instrument bag, specially designed to contain what the children will need to participate.
