Do you know a budding game designer?
Nurturing an interest in computer science, coding and creating technology is going to become even more important as our children grow up. However, many traditional methods can dampen their enthusiasm not encourage it!
Learning to code isn’t just about becoming a programmer—coding is a creative outlet, a way to challenge yourself, a collaboration tool, and a new way to interact with the digital world. That’s exactly what we’ve seen from the Junior Game Creator community. Encourage your child to make friends, make technology and learn from others as they focus on something they love – making games.
What Is Junior Game Creators?
Junior Game Creators is a fun and educational workshop designed to nurture an interest in computer science through a child’s passion for games. Kids love playing video games and we take that enthusiasm teaching them how to create their very own.
What do they do on a workshop?
Our game creators are challenged to create their own video games and are given constructive feedback from the group to improve. They will have made 2-3 games from a blank canvas to finished product during the day as a group.
Playing games is fun, being able make your own games is genius…
