Times: 10am - 3pm
Fun Science is back for more scientific fun in October 2020 (October half term). Days are suitable for children aged 4-11 and all sessions have a first aider on site. This club will be held on the 27th, 28th and 29th October from 10am – 3pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Mount View, Bath, BA2 1JX.
27th October – Colourful chemistry – This day is full of rainbows, potions, bubbles and mixtures! We will be experimenting with different chemicals and seeing what reactions they make plus making our own rainbow makers.
28th October – To Infinity and Beyond – Children will be learning about planets, comets and stars as well as figuring out if they have what it takes to be an astronaut. We will be eating astronaut food, making a planet mobile to take home and launching rockets on this day which is out of this world! We will also be learning a bit about our own planet and what we can do to help keep it safe.
29th October – Spooky Science – Get in the halloween spirit with this day full of experiments that look like magic! Perfect for mini witches and wizards – there will be cauldrons, growing experiments and foaming pumpkins. Your scientists may even come home with a few ‘magic’ science tricks of their own to show you.
