Days: Monday 17 - Wednesday 19 February 2020
Times: 9am - 3pm
‘Survival Instincts’ is a February half term movie making camp, for ages 7-11 and 11-14.
Over three action-packed days, young movie makers taking part will explore lots of movie making skills as they put together their own thrilling adventure sequences. They star in the movie, as well as getting stuck into all the crew roles behind the camera – they’ll each direct and film their own sequences as well as stepping into lots of professional film set crew roles too.
As part of the action, they’ll explore how to build up tension and how to perform action-themed stunts. They will work with a greenscreen to create some epic special effects.
On the last day, they’ll share some of their highlights with you in a ‘behind the scenes’ presentation and each filmmaker also receives a copy of the finished film afterwards for their portfolios.
The camp is great for inspiring imagination and building creativity, as well as helping to make new friends and build up an interest in movie making.
All the staff are qualified Sparks instructors (who receive specialist training) and DBS-checked. We apply high staff to student ratios and take the childcare elements seriously, as well as helping the children to have fun. We’re Ofsted registered and can accept Childcare Vouchers.
