Times: 10am - 4pm
This Summer Cypher’s Creativity & Coding Camps introduce 3 new themes – all with hands-on projects designed to inspire children to learn coding and computational thinking, linking technology to real life and getting future ready.
Our three themes will rotate over 9 wks of summer holidays:
Design for Tomorrow Week! Design + Code:
Today’s 5-12 year olds will be responsible for how the future is designed, how it looks, how it feels, how it works – everything from cars and bikes, to houses and furniture, to packaging and posters, to exhibitions, apps and games – everything needs a designer. Our students will discover from wearable tech to architecture to future transport – design inspired by code.
Fit for the Future! Wellbeing + Code:
Today’s children need to be tomorrow’s healthy, responsible adults. Screens and the internet are often seen as the ‘baddies’ in our lives – but how can computer science improve our lives and wellbeing, help us to balance life, work and health – help us embrace the future with a positive outlook. Students will use code to track, explore and encourage health for the mind and body – time for a mindful approach to tech.
Earth Calling Week! Conservation + Code:
Conservation is on the top of lots of kids’ important’ lists – using our computational thinking we can understand more what is going on in the world and start to solve problems around climate change and caring for our planet. Students will discover the threats to polar bears, orangutans, whales and turtles – and how code can help the planet – learn through games and creative projects
Book now and get summer ready!
