Everyone likes a bit of structure and little ones within our music sessions are no exception. They thrive off it in fact, learning from repetition and gaining confidence as they anticipate what is coming next. Our carefully-planned classes include multi-sensory props, puppets, instruments and engaging themes ensuring that each session has the “wow factor” along with lots of lovely surprises to enchant and excite. There really is something for everyone in our 40-minute classes
( 0 – 18 Months)
Babies, crawlers and toddlers enjoy music together. After a few sessions, our consistent structure becomes familiar to the child and with boosted confidence they start to anticipate what will happen next in the session. Some babies will be in awe as we delight their senses, others can’t wait to join in.
We have observed thousands of little ones in some of their monumental developmental stages, smiling for the first time, rolling over, clapping hands, waving, taking their first steps, sharing puppets and instruments, talking, vocalising, smiling, tidying up …. the list goes on.
(18 months – 4 Years)
These music and movement sessions are faster-paced with lots more action songs to work on those gross motor skills. Classes are tailored to suit, depending on the toddlers and children within the session.
Little ones are encouraged to bring something relevant for our weekly educational themes, preparing the way for future “show and tell” sessions at pre-school, inspiring imaginations and enhancing vocabulary, through our carefully selected songs.
Baby Only Classes
These gentle-paced carefully-structured sessions allow for lots of tickling, bouncing and special bonding time for babies and their grown-ups. Babies are captivated by our multi-sensory props and puppets. Our colourful, baby-safe instruments encourage little hands to reach, grasp, grip and strengthen those muscles. Parents and carers regularly report that their little ones sleep very well afterwards
Mixed Age Classes
These mixed-age sessions are great for families or friends with children of different ages. There really is something for everyone. Older children are encouraged to assist their younger brothers, sisters and friends with the actions and when selecting (and tidying up!) puppets, props and instruments – These vital social skills are often mirrored at home.
Little ones learn from the older ones and get very excited when they can join in themselves. Bring your sibling to these sessions for lots of family fun!
Some of our Class Leaders offer additional sessions for children with special educational needs. Contact your local Class Leader for advice about the most appropriate class for your little one and to find out if these bespoke sessions are available in your area.
