Baby yoga is an old tradition that can help provide a child with the best possible start in life – health, feeling secure and being loved. It has significant benefits that are widely endorsed by medical practitioners across the world.
Baby yoga is based on Hatha yoga – the union of balance of body and mind. Hatha yoga involves the parent/carer learning a series of stretches, poses and moves which will enhance your baby’s physiological development (helps strengthen baby’s bones and muscle tone, co-ordination and sensory-motor skills) as well as deepening your relationship through the class.
During the 6 weeks classes parents/carers will enjoy the special time with their baby’s and learning a series of stretches, poses and moves which will enhance your baby’s development as well as deepening your relationship. Plus, you will get a little stretch out and a good 5 minutes “Chill out” for relaxation and mindfulness. It is a safe, fun and rewarding experience for both parent and baby, and an ideal follow on from Tiny Feet Massage.
